 Comments of parents:

After her first time one parent said, Rekindled my hope, re-energized me, gave an opportunity
to see and be part of a support that is infectious.

From another parent, I got good info on everything, a lot of stress off my shoulders
from a week end [away].

Getting together with other parents of children with disabilities brings a sense of normalcy
to our life when the rest of our days fell so abnormal.

I liked how families have a way to learn they are not alone.

In 10 words or less:

" Informative – relaxing – empowering  –  positive

" Hope

" I have renewed energy to continue advocating for my child

" Great conversations – educational sessions – very informative – well done – Thanks

" Resourceful, empowering – gives us a sense of hope and faith

". . . a great time for reflection, rejuvenation . . .

" Time to reflect and focus on strategies

" I got good info on everything, a lot of stress off my shoulders from a week end [away].

" Education & comradeship

"  . . . renewed vision & hope for our child, and great encouragement!!

" Communication & commiseration with others who understand . . .

". . . very refreshing and educational

" Good time connecting with other parents.

". . . we are not alone – education is available

" Not alone – “togetherness”
